Preachup is coming back
This week we launched the PreachUp blog and tightened up the core sermon workflow. You’ll see a refreshed brand across the app, smoother mobile creation, and cleaner pages.
What’s new
- Unified Apollos and Preachup
- New PreachUp Blog — Read updates and weekly changelogs at blog.preachup.com, with an RSS feed if you prefer your reader.
- Clean design
- Many bug fixes and stability changes
Improvements
- Stronger mobile sermon creation — Creating a new sermon on iOS works reliably again and auto‑links to your default service for that date.
- PreachUp brand throughout — Updated app name, logo, emails, customer portal return links, and EPUB exports now say “Preachup.”
- Cleaner analytics and search — Clearer labels, improved typography, and simpler layouts. Topic chips and results are easier to scan, with friendlier loading and error states.
- Sermon screen polish — Subtle color, button, and panel tweaks make actions and details easier to see at a glance.
- Account settings refresh — A tidier layout and a clearer “Manage subscription” button make common tasks faster.
- Email sign‑in links — The preachup website now supports one‑click sign‑in via email (“magic links”). The button appears on the login screen.
Behind the scenes
- Reliability fixes — New sermons automatically get a default service when needed to prevent linking errors; mobile editors handle state more safely.
- Better monitoring — Hourly error digests, stronger socket error handling, and clearer logs help us catch issues before you do.
- Automated changelogs — A weekly job now assembles commit diffs and drafts the blog changelog so we can publish consistent, useful updates.
